Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team is seeking an experienced Model Maker to assemble wind tunnel models and prepare parts for our aerodynamic program at the Milton Keynes facility. You will work with model makers, design teams and the Additive Manufacturing group to support wind tunnel testing and overall performance improvements.

You will take ownership of tasks, communicate across the Aerodynamics department, mentor junior teammates, and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within the automotive industry or high‑performance engineering sector; previous Formula 1 experience desirable.
• Strong and broad knowledge of Leica systems, 3D scanning, PI Toolbox, Diablo procedures, and related systems.
• Flexibility to work on shifts.
• Ability to scope tasks, identify issues, and discuss actions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Provide guidance and technical support to model makers and junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop wind tunnel models and testing program in collaboration with design and Aerodynamicist.
• Take ownership of assigned work, anticipate requirements, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Communicate clearly across the Aerodynamics department and with stakeholders.
• Support model shop activities, wind tunnel setup, and day‑to‑day tasks.
• Identify new methods to improve efficiency and upskill junior team members.
