The role offers close collaboration with Model Makers, Mechanical Design, Aerodynamics, and the Additive Manufacturing team to deliver high-quality components for wind tunnel testing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a similar environment would be desirable.
• Good craft skills and attention to detail.
• UK driving license for manual vehicles up to 3500kg.
• Flexibility to work on shifts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all groups within the Aero department.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Professional and proactive in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of 3D-printed parts and with test organisation.
• Develop wind tunnel models and testing program in conjunction with Model Makers, Design and Aerodynamics.
• Communicate effectively with all groups within the Aero department.
• Execute day-to-day tasks, providing support to model shop activities and wind tunnel working.
• Manage time effectively in conjunction with department needs.
