Job Description

1. Manage a reporting suite using our data sources, such as databases, to monitor performance trends of retail gaming brands and identify fluctuations.
2. Conduct regular analyses using techniques like A/B testing and clustering, providing insightful commentary, ensuring data accuracy, and meeting deadlines. Proactively complete some analyses with recommendations for the Head of Gaming Product.
3. Assist in budgeting, planning, and reforecasting by modeling key business drivers using historical trends and regression analysis, adding business insights where necessary.
4. Collaborate with team members across the business to develop tools, models, and processes that enhance the analytical capabilities of the Finance team.
5. Support detailed reviews of actual performance versus budget or reforecast, highlighting variances and trends, and conducting analysis with relevant business areas.
6. Work with the BI team to identify areas for further review and report findings to the Head of Gaming Product.
7. Provide ad-hoc analysis with key stakeholders, using past trends to forecast future performance, understanding key drivers and financial impacts, and reporting actual performance periodically.
8. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including divisional analysts, to understand requirements and share knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial modeling and analytical techniques.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Understanding of financial reporting, including income statements and performance dashboards.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Intermediate SQL knowledge.
• Keen interest in Gaming, with understanding of key drivers behind UK financial performance.
• Experience in budgeting, business planning, and forecasting is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to manage and manipulate large data volumes in a fast-paced environment.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and a methodical work approach, with willingness to work occasional unsociable hours.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in sports betting or gaming.
• Knowledge of industry trends and competitors.
