About the position

We’re seeking an experienced and autonomous Game Analyst to drive analytics across our portfolio of games. You’ll own critical parts of our analytics stack — from data modeling to dashboarding to performance storytelling — and play a key role in shaping how we understand and communicate game performance. You’ll also mentor junior analysts and collaborate directly with developers, designers, and external partners.

Reporting to: Head of Data Services

Location: 100% remote from UK, Portugal, or Sweden with the option for hybrid/in-office work at our Stockholm or Lisbon office. Discord and Slack are your best friends.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain game analytics dashboards and KPIs in Lightdash/Looker

• Design and iterate on data models, working closely with engineers and existing data pipelines

• Develop clear, actionable performance reports for clients and internal teams

• Advise on best practices for data tracking and instrumentation across new game releases

• Handle complex, open-ended analysis questions, and present findings with clarity

• Mentor junior analysts and support collaborative workflow across the analytics function

• Identify key trends and patterns to facilitate effective decision making

• Evaluate current processes, suggest solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy, and track performance

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline

• 3-5 years of professional experience in data analytics, ideally with gaming or consumer-facing product experience

• Strong SQL skills and fluency in data modeling and dashboarding

• Experience with BI tools such as Looker/Lightdash, Tableau, or similar.

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Able to communicate data stories effectively to non-technical audiences.

• Someone who can build and deliver compelling presentations.

• Bonus: Experience collaborating with game dev teams or designing analytics frameworks
