Job summary

Premier Galvanizing Corby, part of the Joseph Ash Group, is hiring Galvanizing Operatives to join our manufacturing team in Corby. The role covers jigging, galvanizing baths, finishing and inspection to ensure high-quality steel products.

You will work a full-time rotational day shift (6am–2:30pm and 1pm–9:30pm) with a £14.99/hour base pay plus shift allowance and bonuses. No prior galvanizing experience is required as full training is provided.

• Experience in manufacturing or galvanizing is a plus but not essential

Responsibilities

• Prepare and secure steel products to jigs for galvanizing
• Operate overhead cranes (training provided)
• Dip steel into molten zinc to protect against corrosion
• Finish and inspect products to ensure top-quality standards
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe
• Support the team to meet production targets

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operating overhead cranes (training provided)

• Ensuring your work area remains clean, organised, and safe

Whether you’re in the jigging area, working at the galvanizing baths, or finishing in the fettling bay, you’ll be part of a crucial process that keeps the UK’s infrastructure strong and rust‑free.
