Job summary

Premier Galvanizing Corby, part of the Joseph Ash Group, is hiring Galvanizing Operatives to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. Full-time night shift, Sunday to Friday 9:30pm–6:00am, in Corby, Northamptonshire.

You will help galvanize steel products across the UK with training provided. We seek hands-on, reliable team players with a good safety mindset and strong work ethic; previous manufacturing or galvanizing experience is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and secure steel products to jigs for galvanizing.
• Operate overhead cranes (training provided).
• Dip steel into molten zinc to protect against corrosion.
• Finish and inspect products to ensure quality.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be involved in every step of the galvanizing journey - helping to protect steel products used across the UK and beyond.

• Preparing and securing steel products to jigs for galvanizing


• Operating overhead cranes (training provided)


• Dipping steel into molten zinc to protect against corrosion


• Finishing and inspecting products for top-quality standards


• Ensuring your work area remains clean, organised, and safe

Whether you're in the jigging area, working at the galvanizing baths, or finishing in the fettling bay, you’ll be part of a crucial process that keeps the UK’s infrastructure strong and rust-free.
