Carpenters in London is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support the Sales Team and welcome visitors at the new gallery. You will handle admin, invoicing, client records and logistics, while coordinating shipments and installations for artworks.

The role requires strong communication, an interest in contemporary art/design, and ability to manage travel and calls. Equal opportunity employer; hours Tue-Fri 9.30–18.00; competitive package.

Qualificações

• Experience in executive assistance and/or project management.
• Excellent communication in person, on the phone and over email.
• Passion for contemporary art and design.
• Degree in Art History or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Mac and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Sales Team.
• Host clients on a day-to-day basis at the London gallery.
• Generate artwork invoices and track payments.
• Organise client contact database and record activity/interests.
• Assemble sales collateral for client viewing.
• Manage international shipment and installation of artworks.
• Liaise with logistics on condition of artworks and oversee repairs.
• Organise material sample library and track sample loans.
• Book travel, hotels and restaurant reservations for Sales Team.
• Attend to general administrative tasks.
