Job summary

Val Wade Recruitment seeks a Senior Gallery Executive for a London gallery and events space on a permanent basis. You will work with the Gallery Manager and support operations, events, marketing execution, social media, facilities, and visitor experience.

Key duties include supplier coordination, invoicing, health and safety, and post-event reporting. The role may require evening and weekend shifts; benefits include 25 days holiday plus Christmas closure and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in galleries or cultural venues, events, hospitality or similar environments.
• Experience coordinating suppliers and external partners.
• Experience with invoicing, purchase orders and financial administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the Gallery Manager with planning and delivery of all gallery activities and deputise in their absence.
• Prepare spaces for events, coordinate suppliers, move furniture and support installations.
• Maintain high professional, visual and operational standards of the space.
• Open and close the Gallery as required and conduct regular checks.
• Support staff schedules, event coverage and operational planning.
• Assist with monthly reports, visitor statistics and event results.
• Support invoicing, purchase orders and supplier records; use SAP or ERP systems for processes.
• Coordinate event layouts, room setups and post-event Gallery resets.
• Provide information about the Gallery, exhibitions and events to visitors.
