Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke invites applications for Foundation Year 1 in General Surgery and Urology at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital site. The post is designed to support both emergency and elective services across the surgical division.

The post holder will sit on the FY1 rota with support from the SHO, registrar and consultant team. Clinical duties include urology ward rounds with registrars/consultants, requesting and monitoring diagnostics, and

• Completion of core surgical training programme.
• Experience of publications and presentations.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Evidence of surgical experience.

Responsibilities
