Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Foundation Year 1 in General Surgery and Urology at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital site. The post supports both emergency and elective services across the surgical division and sits on the FY1 rota with support from the SHO, registrar and consultant team.

The role includes ward rounds, diagnostics, discharge summaries, and opportunities to attend urology clinics and theatre.

Qualifications

• GMC registration/licence to practise is essential.
• Experience of General Surgery at F1/F2 level is desirable.
• MRCS or Part 1 and NHS experience are desirable.

Main duties of the job

There is an opportunity to attend clinic and theatre in urology.

Out of hours general surgery cover on a 1 in 10 rota. 6 months, extendable to 1 year.
