Job summary

G MASS Consulting, partnered with a leading global financial services group, seeks a Business Manager in London to join the Capital Markets COO office. The role focuses on the FX franchise and FX payments, combining day-to-day management with cross-functional commercial initiatives across Sales, Trading, Operations, Technology and Control.

The position supports senior stakeholders, driving complex initiatives while ensuring MiFID II and payments regulation alignment.

Qualifications

Track record delivering large-scale cross-functional initiatives in COO/Strategy roles.
Experience in cross-border or FX payments firms.
Strong payments infrastructure knowledge: SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments.
UK payments regulation knowledge (PSR 2017, EMR 2011).
FX product knowledge from Spot to Options.

Responsibilities

Support COO and senior heads in day-to-day management with a focus on FX payments.
Lead commercial initiatives from concept to delivery, incl. launches and capability buildouts.
Design FX payments workflows end-to-end from onboarding to settlement.
Collaborate with Operations and Technology on payment rails (SWIFT, SEPA, FP).
Coordinate regulatory requirements with Compliance, Legal and Finance.
Assess new products/workflows across FX for Spot to Options.
Engage Risk and Credit on counterparty risk in new business.
Define project scope, milestones and governance across priorities.
Prepare materials for senior management and governance forums.
Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory reviews.
