Job summary

Citi in London is seeking a Trader responsible for managing FX option risk and pricing to the franchise across vanilla and exotic products, working closely with the Trading team to optimize the book.

The role focuses on processing trades, delivering revenue, and maintaining strong governance with Legal, Compliance and Risk teams. Candidates should have 3-7 years of related experience and solid technical skills in Bloomberg and trading protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in a related role.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol, closing technicalities.
• Required licensing and registrations as applicable.
• Advanced analytical and numerical competency.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Effective interpersonal skills to develop relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a trading book and generate revenues and manage risk for the respective business
• Coordinate with Sales, Research, CMand and other organizations across Markets and Securities Services and the broader business
• Trade a book and deliver on budgeted revenues and manage book risk
• Establish and maintain key relationships to deliver trades to the desk
• Anticipate client demand in each respective product/market
• Coordinate with desk analysts as needed and with sales to develop the franchise
• Leading strong governance and controls
• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
• Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made; considering the firm’s reputation.
