Job summary

Pitta Patta Nursery in London is offering a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. You will join a friendly team, caring for a group of key children, planning observations and ensuring safeguarding at all times.

You will develop essential skills to support children's learning and development, with on‑the‑job training and 20% off‑the‑job learning. After completion, there may be opportunities to progress as a full‑time Early Years Practitioner.

Qualifications

• You need to have at least a 4/C Grade or above GCSE maths and English or be willing to complete your functional skills alongside your apprenticeship
• You should have a strong interest in working with children to help them develop and grow.
• You should demonstrate a good work ethic and be able to communicate effectively with the people around you, making sure that you treat both other staff and children with respect and care at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery
• To ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
• To give support to other team members throughout the nursery
• To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.
