Job summary

Samsung Electronics UK is seeking a Product Designer to translate user insights into innovative product experiences. You will lead from early research through sketching, CAD, prototyping, and visualisation, applying AI-assisted design and generative tools where appropriate.

You will collaborate with UX, CMF, engineering, and business teams to deliver coherent physical and digital products, with a strong emphasis on hands‑on execution and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial/product design fundamentals with high-quality execution.
• Ability to translate research into distinctive product opportunities and design narratives.
• Experience with AI-enabled design, motion, and visualization tools.
• Portfolio showing original concept development and hands-on execution.
• Ability to work across global teams and multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop original product concepts based on user needs and insights.
• Explore AI and new technologies to create meaningful relationships between people, products and services.
• Translate insights into compelling design narratives and concepts.
• Develop product architecture, form, proportion, and signature design elements.
• Maintain hands-on design throughout the full design process from concept to final proposal.
• Create sketches, 2D concepts, 3D CAD, prototypes and visualizations.
