Job summary
Samsung Electronics seeks a Product Designer to translate insights into distinctive experiences, from research through sketching, CAD, prototyping and visualization. The role blends industrial design fundamentals with AI-enabled thinking and storytelling.
You will collaborate with UX, CMF, Engineering and Business teams to deliver manufacturable concepts, applying GenAI and real-time visualization while maintaining high design quality.
Qualifications
- Strong industrial/product design fundamentals and Samsung design language.
- Experience moving from concept to high-quality final proposals.
- Ability to apply AI-enabled design tools where appropriate.
- Portfolio showing original concept development and hands-on execution.
- Strong sketching and 3D CAD capabilities across multiple tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop original product concepts based on user needs and insights.
- Explore AI and new technologies to create meaningful interactions.
- Translate research into clear opportunities and design narratives.
- Maintain hands-on capability from concept through prototyping.
- Create sketches, 2D concepts, 3D CAD, physical models and visuals.
- Collaborate with UX, CMF, Engineering, and Business teams.
