Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience in materials research or an experimental campaign.
• Strong teamwork and communication; explain complex technical information to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work to tight timescales and within budget.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good digital skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct technical work packages, interpret and report experimental data.
• Collaborate with customers and external partners.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to research publications and conferences.
• Deliver a major £1m+ research campaign for the fusion sector.
