Job summary

Castelan Group is seeking a Furniture Technician to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering the high-quality service we’re known for. Working in customers’ homes, you’ll carry out repairs and restoration while providing a professional, friendly service; full training and ongoing development are provided.

You’ll travel to different locations across designated regions, diagnose faults, produce accurate reports, and work toward first-visit resolution while upholding Castelan’s

• Experience repairing and restoring wooden/furniture in customers' homes.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out professional repairs.
• Capable of completing accurate reports promptly.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customers to assess and repair upholstery, leather, wooden furniture and related items
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out professional repairs to a consistently high standard
• Completing accurate reports and submitting information promptly
• Working towards first-visit resolution and quality targets
• Promoting furniture care products where appropriate
• Maintaining company tools, equipment and vehicle to a professional standard
• Sharing feedback and suggestions that help drive continuous improvement

• Our salaries vary on experience from £30,832.77 - £32,659.76.
• Working Monday to Friday (working 1 in 3 Saturday's per month).
• We offer 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. Your annual leave entitlement will increase by 1 day after 2 years' service, continuing to grow with length of service up to a maximum of 28 days.

Working directly in customers' homes, you'll carry out furniture repairs and restoration work while providing a professional and friendly service. We're seeking a skilled and motivated individual who can quickly integrate into the role and make an immediate contribution. While full training and support are provided, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience and continue developing their professional skills.

No two days are the same. You'll travel to different locations, meet a variety of customers, and use your technical skills to resolve issues and bring furniture back to its best condition. Location

Covering your designated regions, you'll work independently across a variety of customer homes, delivering expert furniture repairs and restoration services.
