Job summary

Driver Hire Dartford is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join its team in Crayford/Dartford. The role involves delivering furniture, loading/unloading items and providing excellent customer service to customers at designated addresses.

Applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with van/delivery experience and be comfortable with heavy lifting. Temporary to permanent contract with on-site hours, typically Monday to Friday with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence and van/delivery experience.
• Able to lift and move furniture and bulky items.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.
• Safe and responsible driving behaviour required.

Responsibilities

• Drive 3.5t Luton, Sprinter and Transit vans.
• Deliver and unload furniture safely at customer premises.
• Lift and manoeuvre bulky items into customers' homes.
• Complete deliveries efficiently and on time.
• Provide professional customer service during delivery.
• Complete delivery paperwork and perform vehicle checks.
