Job summary

Southern Hospice Group is seeking an experienced van driver to join our team. You will collect donations (notably furniture) and transfer stock around the retail network while delivering purchases to customers, ensuring safe handling and courteous service.

You will need GCSE level or equivalent, a full driving licence (max 3 points), and strong communication with colleagues and the public. You will be a reliable team player with good local knowledge and a calm, respectful approach to keep

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent required or qualified by experience.
• Experience in a client/customer contact driving delivery/collection role.
• Full driving licence with up to 3 points.
• Able to communicate confidently with a wide range of people and with sensitivity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and collaborate with colleagues.
• Good written and verbal instruction comprehension and communication skills.
• A team player who responds positively to change.
• Good local geographical knowledge of the area and surroundings.
• Role involves safe manual handling of heavy furniture and household items.

Responsibilities
