Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. are recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established furniture manufacturer in Northampton. The role involves seat furniture assembly, supporting upholstery and finishing tasks, and working safely with tools in a busy production environment.

You will work Monday to Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm, with training provided and opportunities for temp-to-perm for the right candidate; overtime may be required to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Previous production/manufacturing experience required.
• Furniture assembly experience preferred.
• Upholstery or sewing experience desirable.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Able to maintain steady pace in production.
• Reliable, punctual and team-focused.
• Willing to learn and develop new skills.
• Flexible for overtime when volume increases.

Responsibilities

• Assembling seat furniture and related products.
• Supporting upholstery and finishing tasks where required.
• Sewing or stitching fabric components where trained.
• Using hand tools and machinery safely.
• Checking finished products for quality and consistency.
• Following production instructions accurately.
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
