Travail Employment Group is recruiting Furnace Operatives for a respected global engineering business in the Rotherham area. You will join a friendly team, reporting to the Production Manager, and run annealing furnaces while handling multiple products.

The role requires a valid FLT counterbalance licence and experience in steel/foundry or heavy manufacturing, with strong health and safety awareness and a solid work ethic. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a valid FLT counterbalance licence (in-house or own).
• Experience in steel works, foundry, heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and good health and safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate annealing furnaces.
• Manage manufacturing line while running multiple products.
• Check product thickness, strength, colour and positioning.
• Interpret engineering drawings and record information accurately.
• Use FLT counterbalances and overhead cranes to load/unload.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
