Job summary

Bodycote, a global leader in heat treatment and thermal processing, is seeking a Furnace Operator in Chard. You will join a small team to heat treat aerospace and medical components, operate furnaces, prepare parts, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The Role

As a Furnace Operator, you’ll work as part of a small team to meet production targets and carry out heat treatment of critical aerospace and medical components. You will operate furnaces, prepare and process customer parts, and ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards. You’ll also support production flow by working to written procedures, monitoring processes, maintaining accurate output, and assisting with goods in/out activities. The role includes FLT operation and First Aid duties (training provided), occasional local driving, and general support to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Key Essentials

Location & Work Pattern
