Job Description:

Funeral Service Crew - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

£12.40 per hour plus benefits. Part-time 18.75 hours per week, 5 days, 3-4 hours per day, with shifts Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. You will also be part of the on-call rota in Harrogate, North Yorkshire HG2 7LY.

Requirements:

• Full manual UK driver’s licence

Role responsibilities:

• Collect the deceased professionally and empathetically
• Bear coffins and drive funeral vehicles
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness
• Prepare coffins and engrave name plates
• Prepare the deceased for viewings and funerals

Ideal candidates will have:

• A full UK manual driving licence
• Empathy and attention to detail in customer service
• Calmness and compassion in emotional situations
• Physical ability to perform manual lifting
