Job summary
The Opportunity Provider Ltd is recruiting a Funeral Trainer. If you are a Funeral Director or Operative with Mortuary Technician experience, you’ll shape the next generation of funeral care professionals while enjoying hybrid work and travel to meet apprentices.
Your typical week includes at least one travel day and several days working from home, with a starting salary from £29,000 plus tax-free bonuses when targets are met, plus 25 days holidays and great benefits.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a Funeral Director.
- Experience supporting Embalmers would be desirable.
- Confidence with technology and strong organisational skills.
- Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths (or a willingness to achieve this).
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your area.
Responsibilities
- Support apprentices in funeral care settings to develop skills and confidence.
- Create personalised learning plans for each apprentice.
- Demonstrate how maths and English are used in funeral care.
- Build relationships with employers and keep them informed about progress.
- Manage administrative tasks and planning using Google Suite and other systems.
