Legal Recruitment Senior Director | Private Practice | London

Our client, a leading global international City law firm, is seeking a talented funds solicitor to join its top ranked funds and asset management practice.

The firm consistently ranked highly in prestigious legal directories. Known for their market-leading expertise and innovative approach, they have built a stellar reputation for delivering exceptional legal services. With a strong presence across major global markets, they are at the forefront of the legal industry, providing comprehensive solutions to a diverse range of clients.

You will be involved in a variety of high-profile transactions, working with institutional and boutique asset managers both in the UK and internationally. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on fund formation, including listed and unlisted funds
• Handling complex transactional matters with a significant international component
• Providing regulatory and specialist tax structuring expertise
• Engaging directly with clients, offering bespoke legal advice
• Supervising and mentoring junior associates and trainees

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 2+ PQE with experience gained at a Top 20 or US/international law firm that has a highly reputable funds practice
• Strong legal skills in complex drafting, negotiation, and project management
• Excellent knowledge of relevant industry sectors
• A strong academic background and a drive to excel in complex transactions
