Job summary

J.P. Morgan Mansart is seeking a Product Development Specialist / Fund structuring expert to lead end-to-end fund launches and product development across Europe. You will collaborate with sales, legal, compliance and portfolio management to deliver bespoke solutions for clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with knowledge of European funds regulatory environment.
• In-depth knowledge of UCITs, AIFMD, MIFID and Consumer Duty.
• Familiarity with ESG integration and SFDR, taxonomy, UK SDR.
• Experience in product development focusing on structuring funds in Ireland, Luxembourg or other jurisdictions.
• Understanding of derivatives within fund structures.
• Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ownership of projects and ability to drive to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete product design, development, and launch process for new funds, ETFs and managed accounts, including drafting fund prospectuses and offering documentation.
• Coordinate internal and external approvals with key stakeholders throughout the fund launch lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multi-asset sales teams in EMEA and APAC, assessing feasibility, fund pricing and selecting appropriate vehicles in line with client requirements and regulations.
• Lead technical project management activities, such as establishing new fund platforms and engaging with service providers including management companies, depositaries, administrators, and auditors.
• Oversee changes to existing funds, including restructuring, mergers, and terminations.
• Stay informed of industry developments and regulatory changes relevant to fund structuring and documentation.
• Incorporate ESG considerations and related European regulations into product development where applicable.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and foresight in anticipating client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Support the ongoing growth and enhancement of the Mansart platform and fund offerings.
