Job summary

Royal Greenwich is seeking an exceptional Fundraising Lead to guide the borough's Culture Strategy funding initiatives. You will develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising programme, securing investment for revenue and capital projects and building lasting partnerships with funders and cultural partners.

Our new Culture Strategy sets out an ambitious programme to strengthen our cultural infrastructure, support creative talent, and ensure every resident can access high‑quality cultural experiences. We’re now looking for an exceptional Fundraising Lead to help turn that vision into reality.

About the role

As our Fundraising Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive fundraising programme to support major new cultural initiatives across the borough. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to secure investment for revenue programmes, creative industries development, and capital projects that strengthen Greenwich’s cultural infrastructure. You’ll identify opportunities, build partnerships, and develop high‑quality bids to government, arm’s‑length bodies, trusts and foundations, and other strategic funders. This is a pivotal role that will shape the future of culture in Greenwich.
