Job summary

Welsh Women’s Aid in Cardiff seeks a Fundraising Manager to lead the development and delivery of the fundraising strategy, securing funding for programme work and core costs. The role requires a proactive leader who can shape the organisation’s fundraising direction and drive new initiatives.

This 1-year fixed-term maternity cover is hybrid, with home and office-based work and occasional UK travel, including overnight stays. Salary £35,411–£38,296, 37.5 hours per week, reporting to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and manage delivery of the WWA Fundraising Strategy and related policies.
• Lead fundraising activities, campaigns and grant applications.
• Prepare budgets and reports for funders and the Board.
• Manage staff and volunteers, ensuring targets and development plans are met.
• Coordinate communications and events to grow supporter engagement.
