The Zimbabwe Educational Trust
The Zimbabwe Educational Trust (ZET) is a small but ambitious UK charity working to improve access to education and promote sustainable livelihoods in Zimbabwe. ZET's approach targets both internal and external barriers to education for Zimbabwean children.
Using a 'dual focus' strategy, ZET aims to enhance educational infrastructure in Zimbabwe while uplifting the socio-economic well-being of children and youth beyond the classroom. Our projects include securing birth registration documents, vocational training for vulnerable young women, sexual and reproductive health education, and more.
The Role
ZET seeks a proactive, highly organized individual passionate about international development, with skills in fundraising and communications, to join our small team. You will support the charity in three main areas: Fundraising, Operations & Administration, and Marketing & Communications. A key focus will be submitting grant applications to trusts and foundations, but candidates with expertise in administration, operations, or marketing are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
This role offers flexibility, initially part-time for 3 days per week, with potential for increased hours if desired. The ideal candidate should be committed to long-term involvement and excited about contributing to ZET’s growth.
