Role: Poppy Appeal Manager

Hours: 35 Hours, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a passionate individual to join the Royal British Legion as a Poppy Appeal Manager for Worcestershire. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the Poppy Appeal, working closely with the Regional Poppy Appeal Manager to meet income, expenditure, and contribution targets. You will manage relationships with supporters, partners, and volunteers, providing resources and support to maximize fundraising efforts.

You will have opportunities to build corporate partnerships, engage with the community, and coordinate the Poppy Appeal launch, including media activities. This role involves recruiting and inducting new Poppy Appeal Organisers and maintaining stakeholder communication. Some evening and weekend work is expected, but we prioritize work-life balance.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about supporting the Armed Forces community, with strong relationship-building and event planning skills. Financial management experience is helpful but not essential. We offer flexible working arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight, and support balancing work with personal life.
Regular travel within Worcestershire is required, and a full UK driving license is essential. The role is based at your home address.
