Job summary

The Motability Foundation is recruiting a Funding Manager to oversee a multi-year grant portfolio and ensure delivery, governance and impact for our Transport Solutions team in Harlow. You will manage external partners, monitor outcomes and budgets, and align work with the Foundation’s strategy and disabled people’s needs.

Reporting to the Programme Director, you will work across Finance, Legal, Communications, Insight and Evaluation to support robust decisions and high-quality delivery,

Qualifications

• Experience managing a major, multi-year grant or programme.
• Experience managing external partners, consortia or grantees.
• Strong governance, reporting and funder oversight skills.
• Experience monitoring outcomes, budgets and milestones.
• Ability to manage strategic, delivery, governance and reputational risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior audiences.
• Understanding of inclusive practice and disability perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day contact for ncat and coordinate with senior leadership.
• Oversee performance against funding agreements, outcomes and budgets.
• Review financial data, monitor risks, and coordinate approvals.
• Ensure alignment with Foundation strategy and disabled people’s needs.
• Prepare updates and recommendations for committees and leaders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Communications, Insight and Evaluation.
• Support learning and evaluation to inform future delivery.
