Job summary

17Capital LLP is a private credit manager specializing in NAV finance for the private equity industry. The Associate in Fund Performance supports the analytical output of the team, maintaining calculation engines, dashboards and data governance across funds and investments.

You will collaborate with Technology and Finance to deliver timely, accurate performance analytics, Track Record updates and bespoke analyses for fundraising and client inquiries.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Maths or other highly numerical discipline.
• 2+ years' professional experience with knowledge of fund performance or financial analysis.
• Strong modelling and MS Excel skills.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Strong data capability and data mindset.
• Strong analytical capability, with a natural curiosity to understand what data is telling you.
• Proactive with willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Understand fund portfolio investments, LPAs, BAs, investment pipeline and FX/cash policies.
• Explain calculation methodologies used in performance analysis to the business.
• Review gross cash flows and valuations.
• Maintain and enhance calculation engines and reporting tools in Excel and Power BI.
• Maintain and update Track Record and Data Pack quarterly.
• Produce bespoke investment performance analysis for leadership and investors.
• Build enhanced models for gross-to-net performance analysis, valuation and forecasting.
• Co-own quarterly fund performance forecasting with the team.
• Deliver dashboards and models for business needs and automate forecasting data.
