Job summary

93 MGMT is seeking an Interim Private Equity Fund Controller in London. The role covers portfolio monitoring, valuations, fund reporting, fund flows and oversight of third party administrators.

You will oversee NAV and capital accounts, capital calls and distributions, and support financial reporting. We require a qualified accountant with private equity or related private markets exposure, experienced in fund accounting, NAV, and fund administrator oversight.

Qualifications

London | Salary up to £100,000 + Completion Bonus | Interim Contract

We are working with a leading private markets investment firm looking to appoint an Interim Private Equity Fund Controller.

This is an immediate need and we are looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly, take ownership and commit for the duration of the contract.

The role is broad, covering portfolio monitoring, valuations, fund reporting, fund flows and oversight of third party administrators.

The Role

• Review portfolio company performance, management accounts and KPI reporting
• Maintain portfolio monitoring information and reporting
• Support quarterly fair valuations in accordance with IPEV guidelines
• Review valuation models prepared by investment teams
• Quarterly NAV and capital account reporting
• Support annual and interim financial reporting
• Manage capital calls, distributions and investment related fund flows
• Support fund borrowing facilities and FX hedging activity
• Oversee third party fund administrators across accounting and investor reporting
• Support new investments and exits, working with investment teams, legal and tax advisers
• Maintain a strong control environment and improve existing processes

The Candidate

We are looking for a qualified accountant within private equity or a closely related private markets environment, with exposure to:

• Private equity fund structures
• Fund accounting and reporting
• NAV and capital accounts
• Capital calls and distributions
• Fund administrator oversight
• Financial control

Salary up to £100,000 + completion bonus.

This will suit someone who is available at relatively short notice and wants a broad interim role within a high-quality private markets platform.
