Fund Controller – Private Credit (NAV & Audits)

Job summary

Hayfin Capital Management is seeking an experienced fund accountant to join our Direct Lending Fund Controller team in London. You will work closely with the Direct Lending Senior Fund Controller and colleagues across London and Luxembourg, focusing on Direct Lending while supporting other Private Credit strategies.

You will review NAVs, drawdown notices and valuation discussions, oversee fund administrators, and help improve controls and automation across the platform.

Qualifications

• Full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and exposure to financial services, ideally investment funds.
• Experience of IFRS financial reporting for investment funds; Lux GAAP experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Luxembourg and Cayman private credit structures and the accounting that goes with them.
• Knowledge of market best practice in valuation techniques, policies and processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a readiness to influence and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving monthly and quarterly NAVs and investor reporting prepared by third‑party Fund Administrators, and overseeing the service they provide.
• Reviewing and instructing the release of investor drawdown and distribution notices.
• Reconciling intra-month P&L and performance metrics for internal reporting.
• Collaborating with Fund Administrators, FX counterparties, auditors and AIFMs across the UK, Luxembourg and the US.
• Monitoring adherence to the funds' FX hedging policy and supporting audit cycles.
