Job summary

Trace | Expert Accountancy & Finance Recruitment seeks a Fund Controller for a leading Investment Manager in the City with hybrid working. The role focuses on IFRS reporting, FX hedging, treasury, and regulatory tasks across multiple funds.

You will manage fund accountants, own the private funds, and collaborate with stakeholders. Prior fund controller experience and professional qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Have previous fund controller experience.
• Be able to multi-task and manage evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Fund Accountants and Administrators to ensure reporting and controls meet high standards.
• Take ownership of the Private Funds with prior fund controller experience.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the business and externally.
• Work with Fund Managers on complex transactions and developments.
• Support new funds launches and establish relationships with recently acquired investments.

Fund Controller | Renewable Energy and Infrastructure | £90,000 - £100,00 | The City | Hybrid

A leading Investment Manager with over £10bn in assets are looking to welcome a Financial Controller to their team. The business is going through a financial transformation, and they are looking for someone who can join and lead the Fund Accounting team.

The role

You will be responsible for Financial and Regulatory Reporting under IFRS, FX Hedging and Treasury management, and a whole number of Ad-Hoc tasks for numerous key stakeholders.

Your Role

• Manage the Fund Accountants and Administrators to ensure the financial reporting and controls are achieved to a high standard
• Take ownership of the Private Funds, with prior experinece required
• Partner with key stakeholders across the business and externally
• Work with Fund Managers on complex transactions and developments
• Work within the new funds launched and help establish relationships with recently acquired investments

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Have previous fund controller experience
• Be able to multi-task and not get put off by an evolving priority list
