Job summary

Marks Sattin is assisting a London-based investment manager to recruit a Fund Accountant for a hybrid role in London City Centre. You will support the fund finance function across reporting, compliance, audit, and performance analysis, interacting with external providers, investors, and senior internal stakeholders including the CFO.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with post-qualification experience in fund finance.
• Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident user of Excel and MS Office tools; able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review externally prepared fund financial statements and reporting packs.
• Ensure compliance with fund reporting requirements, industry standards and facilities.
• Deliver insightful performance reporting and analysis to investors and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process end-to-end.
• Oversee fund cashflow management and investor communications.
• Drive process improvement through technology and automation.

The Opportunity

As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the fund finance function across reporting, compliance, audit, and performance analysis. You’ll interact with external service providers, consultants, investors, and senior internal stakeholders including exposure to the CFO.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to accelerate their career within Alternative Investments

Key Responsibilities

• Review externally prepared fund financial statements and reporting packs
• Ensure compliance with fund reporting requirements, industry standards, and bank facilities
• Deliver insightful performance reporting and analysis to investors and senior stakeholders
• Support production of investor reporting and fund performance metrics
• Partner with tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process end-to-end
• Oversee fund cashflow management and investor communications
• Drive process improvement through the use of technology and automation
• Provide ad-hoc financial and analytical support across the wider business

What We’re Looking For
