Job summary

Aegon UK Corporate Services Ltd is seeking a Fund Contracts Negotiation Manager in a hybrid role based in the UK (Witham or Edinburgh). You will lead the negotiations and execution of fund management agreements across investment platforms, working with fund managers, legal, regulatory teams and senior stakeholders to deliver opportunities while protecting commercial interests.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, regulatory awareness and robust governance, with a focus on risk mitigation

Qualifications

• Experience in UK fund management, investment platforms or wealth/ pensions sectors.
• Strong knowledge of investment funds, fund managers, platforms and discretionary fund managers.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage client-focused outcomes within deadlines.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills to handle multiple negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and execution of fund-related agreements and documentation for new funds.
• Manage amendments, renewals, novations and other changes for existing funds.
• Build relationships with fund managers, legal/compliance/regulatory teams and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records to support governance and audit requirements.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, operational and regulatory risks.
• Support regulatory change initiatives and updates to contractual docs.
• continually review processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
