Job summary

Meraki Talent partners with a leading Financial Services firm in Exeter to recruit a newly qualified Fund Accountant (ACA/ACCA) transitioning from audit to industry. This role focuses on Private Equity/Asset Management within the Real Estate sector, handling SPV/Fund portfolios and engaging with investment managers and auditors.

The successful candidate will contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting, NAV calculations, and client-facing activities, supporting year-end processes and board

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS.
• Experience from Audit/ Assurance and moving into industry.
• Excellent communication with clients and team.
• Attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records for fund clients with NAV and period-end reporting.
• Review monthly/quarterly management accounts and reports.
• Prepare board packs and assist in board meetings.
• Review Net Asset Valuation reports and supporting calculations.
• Prepare annual financial statements under IFRS/UK GAAP; liaise with auditors.
• Act as point-of-contact for multiple clients and keep records accurate.
• Ensure timely delivery by planning and prioritising tasks.
