Gen II Fund Services in Southampton is seeking a qualified fund accountant to join the Client Services team. You will contribute to NAV calculation, financial reporting, and capital calls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in open-ended funds.

The role requires ACCA or ACA part qualification, experience in IFRS/UK GAAP, and familiarity with Luxembourg structures. You will work in a hybrid setup from our Southampton office and collaborate closely with auditors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Studying ACCA or ACA part qualified with commitment to professional qualification.
• Experience producing NAV calculations, financial statements and/or management accounts.
• Experience in IFRS, UK GAAP or other relevant standards for diverse entities.
• Fund accounting experience in open-ended environments; audit exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of Luxembourg laws/structures and PERE sector knowledge is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cash reconciliations and ensure timely settlement of transactions.
• Book daily transactions in the internal accounting system within portfolio timescales.
• Monitor overdue payments and manage collection activities.
• Maintain supporting documentation in line with internal procedures.
• Prepare, book and send capital calls and distributions to investors.
• Collect and reconcile capital call/distribution information from target investments.
• Prepare payments and verify documentation for disbursements.
• Coordinate with external providers for tax return documentation.
• Support annual, semi-annual, and quarterly closing activities and NAV preparation.
• Prepare consolidation packages for internal group reporting and liaise with audits.
