A leading educational organization seeks a part-time teaching professional to support vulnerable learners aged 14–18 below GCSE level. The role involves delivering practical sessions in English and Maths, focusing on functional skills that apply to real-world scenarios. Candidates will have the flexibility to personalize their teaching methods and receive consistent support from a specialist team, fostering a path back to educational success.
Location: Home and community-based | Rate: £30–£35/hr
Support vulnerable learners aged 14–18 who are working below GCSE level. Your sessions will focus on Functional Skills in English and Maths, delivered in a practical, engaging format that reflects real-world application.
Most pupils have SEMH or SEN needs, and may be out of school.
Teaching qualification, perferably with QTS
Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS certificate or a willingness to obtain one
Experience supporting disengaged or vulnerable learners
Ability to personalise content and pace to suit learner
Consistent, part-time hours that fit around your schedule
Opportunities to shape how sessions run
Regular contact with a friendly, specialist team
Work with pupils on a path back to learning success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
