Job summary

PFAS in Croydon is seeking a Functional Assessor to conduct structured assessments and apply clinical judgement to support fair decision-making. The role is Monday–Friday with hybrid on-site requirements and a focus on producing high-quality reports.

You’ll use your clinical expertise to assess how conditions affect daily living, interpret clinical evidence and deliver assessments in a respectful, supportive manner. Training and development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Essential professional qualifications and registrations required to practise in the UK.
• Minimum 12 months post-qualification clinical experience and eligibility to practise in the UK.
• Membership with the relevant professional body (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Conducting structured telephone, video or face-to-face assessments
• Exploring how a claimant’s condition impacts daily living
• Reviewing and interpreting clinical evidence
• Producing detailed, high-quality written reports
• Applying professional judgement in line with regulatory standards
• Working towards quality and productivity targets
• Delivering assessments in a respectful, fair and reassuring manner
• This is an analytical, report-focused role.

This Role Would Suit You If You:

• Have strong clinical reasoning skills

Essential Requirements
