Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd offers a Hybrid Functional Assessor position in Great Yarmouth, enabling clinicians to move away from hands-on shifts while applying clinical expertise in a structured, supportive environment. The role runs Monday–Friday with a 90-minute commute requirement to the Great Yarmouth site.

Expect a base salary of £40,000 with up to a 10% quarterly bonus and a £2,000 performance uplift in year one.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification as a registered healthcare professional (RGN, RMN, RNLD, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Pharmacist)
• Ability to write detailed, evidence-based reports with clinical justification
• Comfortable interpreting complex medical information

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured telephone, video or face-to-face assessments
• Explore how a claimant’s condition impacts daily living
• Review and interpret clinical evidence
• Produce detailed, high-quality written reports
• Apply professional judgement in line with regulatory standards
• Work towards quality and productivity targets
• Deliver assessments in a respectful, fair and reassuring manner

What You’ll Be Doing

This Role Would Suit You If You:

• Have strong clinical reasoning skills
• Are confident writing detailed, evidence‑based reports
• Can interpret complex medical information
• Are comfortable using IT systems and Microsoft Office
• Want predictable working hours
• Are open to structured training and accreditation
