What is on offer as a Functional Assessor?

1. Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
2. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
3. Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
4. Ashford based when working on-site
5. Annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 10 more days + pension
6. Hybrid/home working available
7. NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided

What does the Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 4-5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP makes the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

5. Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
