Sapiens UK is seeking a Functional Architect to provide end to endsupport to R&D and project initiatives. If you have more than 5 yearsof experience working as a Lead Business Systems Analyst in a lifeinsurance/pensions systems environment, this could be the next greatstep in your career.

An understanding of policyadministration systems is key to the success of this role as you willbe designing enhancements and creating solutions within our highlysought-after Life & Pensions (L&P) system. For more information aboutthe solution, Click here

Working Model: Cardiff Hybrid (Flexible) or Remote (within UK)

Location: Cardiff. Please note that there is no VisaSponsorship/Relocation support for this role.

What you will do:

• Support the design ofproject End to End solutions ensuring all project stream solutions arein line with the overall solution.
• Write end to end solutionsfor specific policy administration system enhancements.
• Analyse current system functionality to determine whenenhancements are required and the best enhancement to meet businessrequirements.
• Write and / or review Requirements and DesignDocuments.
• Ensure all Requirements, Design Documents aredelivered on time.
• Act as a Consultant in requirement anddesign workshops internally and externally.
• Engage with LeadBA/PD/PM on project Actions, Assumptions, Risks, Issues, Decisions,Constraints.
• Review the Technical Design Specifications.
• Support Development throughout the build phase of projects.
• Review the Test Scripts and support testing throughout thetest phase.
• Help to define acceptance criteria and high-levelestimates.
• Work in accordance with Sapiens processes &Sapiens best practices.
• Provide clients with functionalanalysis and design advice guidance and consultancy in Sapiens’solution throughout the project.
• Participate in Peer Reviewactivities, interacting with Business Analysts, to ensure quality andcompleteness of requirement and design work.
• Configure/Support the configuration of the parameters thatdetermine the functionality specified in the design documentation.
• Ensure Product Material collateral is updated andpresentable.
• Support training sessions on the system and itsproduct sets.

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Lead BusinessSystems Analyst in life and/or pensions and/or Annuity systemsenvironment.
• Proven experience working on integrationprojects, including policy administration system and integrationplatforms.
• Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of life andpension products and processes.
• Demonstrated ability tounderstand business requirements and create implementable solutionsthat meet these requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work productively on a crossfunctional and cross geographic team.
• Fluent English – bothwriting and verbal.
• Knowledge of SQL and Excel, experiencewith other programming languages desirable.

Good to have skills:

• Previous experienceworking with a Life or Pensions policy administration system, digitalplatform, and business intelligence – Advantage.
• Experiencein collaborative and agile working methods – Advantage.
• BScin Computer Science, information systems engineering, or similar –Advantage.
• Other European languages - An advantage.
