Job summary

Harmony HealthCare seeks a Female Complex Healthcare Assistant to support a six-year-old girl with complex clinical needs at home in Rotherham. The role focuses on delivering safe, person-centred care and tracheostomy management as she transitions from hospital to home.

You will work with family, hospital staff and school to ensure safety and wellbeing, including daily routines, feeding support and driving needs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex clinical care in home/community settings.
• Ability to work with a child with spinal cord injury and complex needs.
• Compassionate, reliable and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centred care in home/community settings.
• Deliver tracheostomy care, including suctioning and humidification.
• Monitor breathing, comfort and clinical presentation; respond to changes.
• Support medication administration per care plan and PEJ feeding where required.
• Assist with urinary and bowel management and personal care duties.
• Manage clinical equipment safely (suction, ventilation, feeding) and report changes.
