Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Chorley on a full-time basis.

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils with Autism, MLD, SLD and complex needs, and work with support staff to monitor progress.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm with a competitive daily rate dependent on experience; start ASAP subject to vetting.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching children with SEN.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with SEN including ASC, MLD, SLD and complex needs.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals to support pupil progress.
• Monitor and assess student development, adapting teaching approaches as required.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage academic and personal growth.
