Job summary

The Mead School Limited in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Caretaker to join a supportive, professional team. You will help care for buildings and grounds and assist with basic maintenance and DIY tasks, ensuring the site is presentable each day.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am–5:30pm, with a permanent full-time contract and a salary of £24,122 per year. Benefits include a 5% employer pension, staff discounts, lunches, and access to apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Experience of, or ability to learn about, taking care of buildings and grounds and basic maintenance, and DIY.
• Assist the Site Manager with maintaining the school to a high standard and ensuring the site is presentable and tidy each day.
• Safeguarding commitment and ability to undergo appropriate checks as part of employment.
