Job summary

Schuh Limited is seeking a Sales Assistant for our Lakeside kids store. The role is full time at 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days.

You will deliver outstanding customer service to children and their guardians, provide our free measure and fitting service, and share in-depth product knowledge to help families choose the right footwear. Full training will be given, and you will support with payments, orders and stock, while keeping high standards on the shop floor and back areas.

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Full training will be provided for the role.
• Availability to work 37.5 hours per week over 5 of 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of customer service to children and guardians.

• Provide in-depth product knowledge and meet KPIs/targets.
• Process payments, orders and reservations accurately.
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising.
• Maintain high standards on floor and in back areas.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our kids store in Lakeside!

Please note, this role is full time. Candidates must be available to work 37.5 hours 5 over 7 days.

About what you'll be doing –

• Delivering the highest level of customer service possible to both child and their parent/guardian
• Offering our free measure and fitting service to our little customers
• Providing in depth product knowledge
• Striving to meet KPIs and personal targets
• Processing payments, customer orders and reservations
• Stock management and shop floor merchandising
• Maintaining high standards both on shop floor and in back areas
• Assisting with opening/shutdown procedures
• Previous experience is not essential, however customer service and/or retail experience would be preferable. Full training will be given for the role.
