Job summary

Peterborough Central Vets for Pets is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly, supportive team at our Peterborough practice. The role offers a varied range of RVN duties, nurse clinics, theatre work, anaesthesia and inpatient care, with a strong emphasis on skill development and mentoring student nurses.

You will help run the practice daily, contribute to high-quality patient and client care, and benefit from a well‑balanced schedule with 40 hours per week and 1 in 4 Saturdays,

Qualifications

• Fully qualified RVN with registration.
• Experience with nurse consultations, anaesthesia and inpatient care.
• Willingness to mentor student nurses.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of RVN duties in a busy first‑opinion practice.
• Conduct nurse consultations and assist with theatre and anaesthesia.
• Care for inpatients and support nurse clinics, including Schedule 3 procedures.
