Gordon Vets in Musselburgh is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and support client experiences, working closely with surgeons and nurses across our three-branch practice.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Patient care post op and day hospitalisation.
• General anaesthetic and sedation preparation and monitoring.
• Surgical prep of operation rooms and patients.
• Laboratory duties
• Infection control
• Care and maintenance of equipment
